Emily Week 5

Pops comes for a visit and relieves Jeremy and I so we can go out to dinner! Thank you Mr. B!;) It was very strange going out that is for sure. I think both of us were so tired we didn't even know how to order our food!:)

Everytime she smiled I was too late getting the picture...this is the best I could do.

Uncle Michael with Emily! We loved having Michael come visit. He was so sweet and saw Harry Potter twice so both Jeremy and I could go! What would we do without our "manny"?!

What a difference a week makes

She is so cute! These are the peaceful times!

She really doesn't like to be swaddled anymore! Her legs are getting so long that it's becoming a tight fit in the bassinet in our room.

I think she was 2 weeks here...so little compared to the pictures above!:)

So, I was so excited that Jeremy was back from Pensacola to help with the baby because it really has been a long week! Well, this is his idea of "helping" with the baby!!!

Our Little Bundle of Joy

Well, it has now been almost 3 weeks since Emily has arrived and it seems like we have had her for years. She is a great little baby...except when she is hungry but who isn't cranky when they're hungry?! She has already grown an inch and is currently weighing in at 8 pounds 7 ounces. Although, that number may have changed in the 2 days she was last weighed! Emily likes to eat! She is very active and we even get some smiles which is worth the sleep deprivation! Jeremy and I are trying to figure this baby stuff out and I think we are starting to get it. I just can't believe how much she has already changed. Today we are off to the cardiologist...hopefully all is well with her.
